FIZZY FAVES
Some of my favorite books, albums, and movies. Check them out and let me know what you think!

God didn’t intend for life to be boring, yet so many of us are bored, apathetic, and tired. This book dives into why we feel that way and how to change that. This book changed my life.

All Christian music sounds the same!…except it doesn’t. You just have to know where to look. KK’s music has brought tears to my eyes so many times. Zeal was written to replace apathy with passion and childlike wonder. That is exactly what it does for me.

Rotoscope animation, a plot that makes you question reality, and an angsty Hispanic lead? Wow. This show has so many things that others (even my favorites) do not. Watch it if you dare to go on an adventure where time, space, and daddy issues are undone. (Pun very intended.)

The lesser known cousin of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Chronologically this is the first book in the Narnia series. It stirs up all the childhood wonder and whimsy in me each time I read it.

This album isn’t for the lighthearted. Propaganda poses questions I’ve been too afraid to ask out loud and makes statements that cut to the heart. As challenging as this album is, he raps with humility and vulnerability, and I respect that.

A classic whodunit. The characters and storyline stand on their own, but they also pose some challenging questions about rights, heritage, and legacy. Plus all the dramatic flourishes and iconic detective lines you could hope for.
